libxp-dev software package provides X Printing Extension (Xprint) client library (development files), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libxp-dev
libxp-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libxp-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libxp-dev *
You will get with libxp-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
